Give the code when arranging the new service
The old and new services coordinate the switch. Number transfer timing can vary, so check the confirmation you receive when the switch is arranged.
Check the first and final bills
Confirm the old service has ended correctly and that the new plan reflects the agreed charges.
Coverage still comes first.
A cheaper plan can be poor value if coverage is weak where you need it. Check coverage for the service you are considering and consider indoor coverage at home, work and other important locations.
